DOHA : Action continued in the 11th round of the Qatar Equestrian Tour Longines Hathab, organisers said on Friday, with multiple classes held at the main arena of the Qatar Equestrian Federation.
The ninth edition of the national series, organised in partnership with Al Shaqab, featured competitions across several categories including Future Riders (70 cm), Open (110 cm) and the Gold class (140 cm) for individuals and teams.
In the Future Riders event, Alia Ahmed Al Khater claimed first place riding Faheen with a time of 16.64 seconds, ahead of Hessa Ali Al Jaber on Violet and Salman Faisal Al Marri on Dark Dream.
Khalid Al Hadi topped the Open class with a time of 30.42 seconds on Cici, narrowly beating Sultan Salem Al Nuaimi on De Varni, while Abdullah bin Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani finished third aboard Harlivents.
In the junior division of the same class, Abdullah bin Tamim secured first place, followed by Sultan Jassim Al Suwaidi and Abdullah Ahmed Al Misifri.
The Gold class saw Fawaz Al Rashid take top honours with a time of 64.75 seconds on Forets, with Gian François Rondeau second and Salman Mohammed Al Emadi third.
At team level, Team Wathnan finished first with a combined time of 134.98 seconds, ahead of Al Shaqab.
The round concludes on Saturday with the Diamond class (150 cm), Bronze class (120 cm) and additional Future Riders and dressage competitions.
