HYDERABAD: Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was left in visible agony after suffering a hamstring injury during Indian Premier League 2026 match between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad on Saturday.
The unfortunate incident took place during SRH’s chase of 229, shortly after Sooryavanshi had delivered a sensational century to power Rajasthan to a commanding total. In the third over, while chasing down a shot played by Ishan Kishan, Sooryavanshi suddenly pulled up mid-run and clutched his hamstring.
Clearly in significant discomfort, he struggled to walk and had to be assisted off the field by the team physio, raising concerns for Rajasthan Royals after an otherwise remarkable performance.
