SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS, Belgium : Qatar Team finished third in the LMGT3 category at the fourth round of the 2026 European Le Mans Series (ELMS), securing a podium in a four-hour endurance race at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit on Sunday.
The Qatar Team, competing in partnership with Iron Lynx, fielded the No. 62 Mercedes-AMG LMGT3 driven by Abdullah Al Khalifa, Julien Hanses and Adam Christodoulou.
The crew produced a consistent performance throughout the race, combining competitive pace with reliability and effective teamwork to remain in contention among the leading LMGT3 entries.
Their third-place finish earned valuable championship points as the ELMS season enters its decisive stages.
Al Khalifa was also named LMGT3 Driver of the Day in recognition of his performance and contribution to the team’s podium result.
The result represents another significant milestone for Qatar Team by Iron Lynx in its 2026 ELMS campaign and provides momentum heading into the remaining rounds
The Spa race was the fourth round of the championship, with the team now aiming to build on its latest podium and remain in contention for further strong finishes.
Qatar Team will turn its attention to the remaining races as it seeks to maintain its momentum, challenge for more podium places and finish the season strongly.
