SINGAPORE : Qatar’s men’s and women’s under-23 3×3 basketball teams are preparing for the fourth stop of the FIBA 3×3 Youth Nations League 2026 Asia West/Pacific in Singapore on Monday.
The Qatari men’s team comprises Mohammed Ahmed, Abdulrahman Ashraf, Mubarak Jama and Issa Radi, while the women’s squad features Dima Khalid, Sara Zayed, Dana Al Sayed and Fatima Jamal.
Both teams will compete in Group B during Stop 4, facing Turkmenistan and Australia as the tournament enters its second half.
The competition is being held in Singapore and provides the young Qatari players with valuable exposure to international 3×3 basketball as they test themselves against strong opposition from the region and beyond.
Qatar has completed the opening three stops of the tournament over the past three days, gaining experience and continuing its development in the fast-paced format.
The teams will now look to build on that experience and produce stronger results in the remaining stages of the competition.
The Youth Nations League features a series of stops, giving participating teams multiple opportunities to compete and develop throughout the tournament.
For Qatar, the competition forms part of its efforts to develop its next generation of 3×3 players, with the young squads gaining valuable experience against established youth programmes.
