Singapore : Qatar men’s national 3×3 basketball team exited the FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup 2026 after a 17-20 loss to China men’s national 3×3 basketball team in the quarter-finals.
Qatar progressed to the knockout stage after finishing second in Group D. They began their campaign with a 16-11 win over India men’s national 3×3 basketball team, showing strong defensive discipline and organized offense, before suffering an 11-21 defeat to New Zealand men’s national 3×3 basketball team.
China, meanwhile, advanced from Group B. They lost their opening match 19-21 to Malaysia men’s national 3×3 basketball team but recovered with a 21-15 victory over Australia men’s national 3×3 basketball team to book their place in the knockout rounds.
