CALCUTTA: Tension continues to grow at Mohammedan Sporting Club as angry supporters staged fresh protests outside the club premises on Sunday.
Fans locked the main gate of the historic Kolkata club and demanded the resignation of key officials over the ongoing crisis.
The protest also saw supporters burning garlands placed on photographs of club officials as frustration among fans reached a new high.
Mohammedan Sporting endured a disappointing campaign in the just concluded ISL, failing to win a single match and finishing at the bottom of the table among 14 teams. The club is also facing serious financial difficulties, with reports suggesting that players, coaching staff and employees have not received salaries for several months.
Amid mounting pressure, club officials reportedly approached Indian Secular Front (ISF) leaders and MLA Naushad Siddique seeking financial assistance and support for the struggling institution.
The situation has intensified concerns over the future of one of India’s oldest football clubs, with supporters demanding immediate reforms, professional management and financial stability.

Very well done all the club officials should be kicked out as soon as possible
