DOHA: Doha will host the Lebanon-Yemen match in the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 Qualifiers on June 4 at Hamad Bin Khalifa Stadium, the Local Organizing Committee for Football Events announced on Monday.
The match was originally scheduled to be played in Beirut on March 31, before Lebanon’s home fixture against Yemen was moved to neutral ground in Qatar. The match is being jointly organized by the Lebanese Football Association and the Local Organizing Committee for Football Events.
It will be the second time Hamad Bin Khalifa Stadium hosts Lebanon during their AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 qualifying campaign, following a 2-0 win over Bhutan on October 9.
The stadium also recently hosted Yemen in the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar qualifiers, where they played out an entertaining 4-4 draw with Comoros on November 26, 2025.
