DOHA : Lusail International Circuit hosted more than 1,200 participants for a large-scale edition of its “Sport for All Day” community event, organisers said on Friday.
Runners, walkers and cyclists took part on the venue’s 5.38-kilometre track as part of a weekly initiative aimed at promoting healthy and active lifestyles while showcasing the circuit’s role as a world-class motorsport destination.
Participants were given the opportunity to experience the same track used for top-tier competitions such as Formula One World Championship and MotoGP World Championship, along with endurance racing events.
Organisers said the latest edition introduced new features to enhance the overall experience, reinforcing the event’s growing appeal as both a fitness platform and a social gathering space for residents of diverse backgrounds.
