CHENNAI: Gujarat Titans rode on impressive knock from Sai Sudharsan, who smashed 87 off 46 balls, to secure an 8-wicket win over Chennai Super Kings in their Indian Premier League 2026 clash on Sunday.
GT skipper Shubman Gill won the toss and chose to bowl first, a decision that paid off early as Kagiso Rabada and Mohammed Siraj tore through CSK’s top order during the powerplay, reducing them to three early wickets down.
CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad led the recovery with his first half-century of the season, batting through the innings to guide his side to 158/7 in 20 overs.
In reply, Gill provided a quick start before Sudharsan took control of the chase, with support from Jos Buttler, as Gujarat sealed a comfortable victory.
