Riyadh, Saudi Arabia : Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice as Al Nassr FC clinched the Saudi Pro League title with a 4-1 victory over Damac FC on the final day of the season.
Sadio Mane and Kingsley Coman were also on target for coach Jorge Jesus as Al Nassr secured their first league crown since 2019.
The win lifted Al Nassr to 86 points, two ahead of rivals Al Hilal SFC, who defeated Al Fayha FC 1-0 but finished second.
It was Ronaldo’s first Saudi league title since joining Al Nassr in late 2022.
Coman extended Al Nassr’s lead in the 52nd minute with a powerful left-footed strike from outside the penalty area after weaving past several defenders.
Damac pulled one back through Morlaye Sylla, who converted a penalty in the 58th minute, but Ronaldo restored the two-goal advantage five minutes later with a curling free kick.
The Portuguese forward sealed the victory in the 81st minute when he fired into the top corner after Damac failed to clear a cross.
