DOHA : The Qatar Sports for All Federation (QSFA) will hold a men’s padel tournament from November 8 to 10 at the Platinum Padel courts at Al Sadd Sports Club, with registration open to players aged 16 and above.
The tournament is part of the federation’s sporting calendar, which aims to encourage community participation and promote physical activity, particularly among young people.
Registration is open through the QSFA mobile app, allowing padel enthusiasts to enter the competition and demonstrate their skills.
QSFA Executive Director Abdullah Al Dosari said the tournament reflected the federation’s commitment to expanding sporting opportunities as padel grows in popularity across Qatar.
He said strong interest in previous editions had encouraged the federation to organise another competition, with the aim of maintaining high organisational standards and providing participants with a competitive atmosphere.
Al Dosari added that the tournament’s objectives extended beyond competition, seeking to encourage regular physical activity and identify and develop sporting talent. He also invited padel enthusiasts to register and participate.
The tournament forms part of the QSFA’s broader efforts to diversify its sports programmes through an annual calendar featuring more than 850 events and competitions.
The federation’s initiatives cater to different age groups and aim to strengthen sporting culture by making physical activity part of everyday life in the community.
