DOHA: The Local Organising Committee (LOC) for AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 has appointed Jassim Abdulaziz Al Jassim as the Chief Executive Officer of the tournament, the Qatar Football Association (QFA) said on its website.
Qatar will host the Asian Cup in Jan-Feb next year.
The Asian Football Confederation’s Executive Committee had previously selected Qatar to host the 2023 AFC Asian Cup.
Qatar, who are the reigning champions, will host the tournament for the third time after 1988 and 2011 editions.
