DOHA: Qatar will participate in the Special Olympics Games which will be held in Germany’s capital city, Berlin from June 17 to June 25.
A total of 7 thousand male and female athletes from 170 countries will compete in 26 Olympic sports.
The Qatari national team is represented by five male and female players. They will compete in roller skating, athletics and weightlifting.
Mubarak Al Ahbabi and Shuaa Al Abdullah will participate in the 100 and 300 meter skating competitions, and Hamad Al Ahbabi will participate in the 30m straight skating competition and 30m slalom skating competition.
Jassim Fakhroo will take part in 100m sprint and long jump while Mohammed Al Mahmoud will be seen in push-button and 100m sprint actions. Hamad Jaber will participate in weightlifting.
