Doha : Qatar SC volleyball team and Al Ahli SC volleyball team advanced to the quarter-finals of the HH the Amir Volleyball Cup for the 2025-2026 season.
Qatar sealed their place with a commanding 3-0 win over Al Khor SC volleyball team at the Qatar Volleyball Association Hall, taking the match 25-19, 25-12, 25-13.
It marked Qatar’s second consecutive victory following their 3-1 win over Al Gharafa SC volleyball team, giving them a perfect six points to top their group. Al Gharafa finished second with three points to also qualify, while Al Khor were eliminated after two defeats.
In Group B, Al Ahli SC volleyball team booked their quarter-final spot with a 3-1 victory over Al Shamal SC volleyball team (25-19, 25-22, 13-25, 25-21), finishing second with three points. Al Shamal exited the competition after back-to-back losses.
Al Sadd SC volleyball team had already secured qualification after winning both their matches against Al Shamal (3-0) and Al Ahli (3-1) to top their group.
