LAHORE: The Pakistan Super League technical committee has rejected Fakhar Zaman’s appeal and upheld his two-match suspension for ball tampering, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said in statement.
Fakhar was handed the ban earlier this week following his involvement in an incident during Lahore Qalandars’s four-wicket defeat by Karachi Kings, a decision he subsequently challenged.
“In accordance with the Code of Conduct, any decision made by the PSL technical committee shall be the full, final and complete disposition of the matter and will be binding on all parties,” the PCB said in a statement.
Fakhar will miss Lahore’s upcoming matches against Multan Sultans on Friday and Islamabad United on April 9.
