Pakistan national cricket team recalled batter Babar Azam for the upcoming three-match one-day international series against Australia national cricket team after naming a 16-man squad on Friday.
Fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi will captain the side for the series, which will be played in Rawalpindi and Lahore from May 30 to June 4.
Babar, Shadab Khan, Naseem Shah and Sufyan Moqim return to the ODI squad after missing the Bangladesh series in March.
Former captain Mohammad Rizwan was left out, while Muhammad Ghazi Ghori and Rohail Nazir were selected as wicketkeeper-batters.
Uncapped players Ahmed Daniyal, Arafat Minhas and Rohail Nazir were also included in the squad.
The opening ODI will be played in Rawalpindi on May 30, with the remaining two matches scheduled in Lahore on June 2 and June 4.
