NEW DELHI: India will face Afghanistan in a one-off Test followed by a three-match ODI series, with the red-ball contest starting on June 6 and the ODIs beginning on June 13.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced squads for both formats, with star duo Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya included in the ODI squad.
However, the board has confirmed that their participation will depend on receiving fitness clearance before the series. Shubman Gill’s side will be aiming for a strong start as they return to international action following the conclusion of IPL 2026.
