JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia — The Gulf Football Federation will offer 77 prizes to fans attending the 27th Gulf Cup in Jeddah, including 75 iPhones and two BYD cars, as part of initiatives aimed at encouraging attendance and fan engagement.
The tournament will be held in Jeddah from Sept. 23 to Oct. 6 under the patronage of Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The prizes will be awarded through electronic random draws held after matches, with eligible ticket holders automatically entered. Winning ticket numbers will be displayed on stadium screens after the final whistle.
To qualify, fans must have purchased a valid match ticket, entered the stadium and had their ticket electronically registered at the entrance gates before the 10th minute of the first half.
Free, supplementary and complimentary tickets will not be eligible for the draws.
The initiative combines match attendance with prize draws throughout the tournament, with the Gulf Football Federation using the scheme to encourage fans to attend matches and participate in the Gulf Cup experience in Jeddah.
