GDANSK : Turkish champions Galatasaray have signed Russian attacking midfielder Aleksey Batrakov from Lokomotiv Moscow for 25 million euros ($29.19 million), the club said on Thursday.
The 21-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the Istanbul club and will earn a net annual salary of 3.25 million euros, Galatasaray said.
Lokomotiv will also receive 15% of any profit from Batrakov’s future transfer.
A graduate of Lokomotiv’s academy, Batrakov is regarded as one of Russia’s most promising young players.
He made his senior Russia debut in November 2024, scoring in a 11-0 win over Brunei.
Batrakov has made five appearances for Lokomotiv this season, scoring once and providing one assist.
He enjoyed a breakthrough campaign last season, scoring 17 goals and providing 12 assists in 36 appearances for the Moscow club.
