DOHA : Organisers of the GCC Games Qatar 2026 will hold a press conference on Sunday to outline final preparations ahead of the tournament.
The briefing, scheduled at the headquarters of the Qatar Olympic Committee, will provide updates on readiness for the fourth edition of the Games.
Set to run from May 11 to 22, the event will bring together athletes from Gulf Cooperation Council nations to compete across 19 sports.
Organisers are also expected to unveil the official mascot for the first time, designed to reflect Qatar’s identity, environment and sporting spirit.
In addition, details regarding sponsors, strategic partners and a range of fan engagement activities accompanying the Games will be announced.
The press conference marks a key step in the final countdown to one of the region’s أبرز sporting events.
