DOHA : Al Sailiya Sports Club staged a second-half comeback to secure a 2-2 draw against Al Ahli Sports Club in round 20 of the Qatar Stars League at Al Thumama Stadium on Friday.
Driss Fettouhi opened the scoring in the ninth minute before Michel Vlap doubled Al Ahli’s lead four minutes later, capitalising on assists from Julian Draxler and Oumar Sekou.
Al Sailiya responded after the break, with Diago Amaro pulling one back in the 54th minute with a header before Cristian Del Bello equalised in the 80th minute following a solo run.
The result leaves Al Ahli on 20 points, while Al Sailiya move to 19 in the standings.
