Played at Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Stadium, the Round of 16 clash saw end-to-end action across regular and extra time.
Al Sadd’s goals came from Claudinho (36’), Rafa Mujica (58’), and Roberto Firmino (71’).
Al Hilal responded through Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (29’), Salem Al-Dawsari (55’), and Leonardo (67’), forcing the match into extra time before penalties decided the outcome.
