Doha : Al Duhail, Al Arabi, Al Rayyan and Al Gharafa advanced to the semi-finals of the HH the Amir Cup Handball tournament after convincing quarter-final victories.
Al Duhail booked their spot with a dominant 36-27 win over Qatar SC and will face Al Rayyan, who defeated Al Wakrah 27-23.
Meanwhile, Al Arabi secured a 31-25 victory against Al Sadd to set up a semi-final clash with Al Gharafa, who beat Al Ahli 27-21.
The semi-finals are scheduled for next Saturday, with the final set to take place on Monday.
Al Duhail are the defending champions, having edged Al Arabi 29-27 in last season’s final. Al Sadd remain the most successful club in the competition’s history with eight titles, followed by Al Ahli and Al Duhail with five each.
