DOHA — Lusail Sports Club has launched a Fan Zone at Lusail Stadium as part of efforts to improve the matchday experience and strengthen engagement between the club and its supporters.
The Fan Zone will open at 5:30 p.m. on matchdays and will feature entertainment and interactive activities aimed at children, young people and families.
The initiative is part of the club’s strategy to turn matchday into a broader sporting and community experience, beginning before kickoff rather than being limited to the 90 minutes of play.
Lusail Sports Club said the Fan Zone would provide an opportunity for supporters to interact in a lively atmosphere, while encouraging them to arrive at the stadium earlier and spend more time engaging with the club and fellow fans.
The initiative also forms part of the club’s efforts to promote a stronger culture of match attendance and introduce new experiences designed to deepen supporters’ connection with the team.
The club said fans remained a key component of the sporting environment and played an important role in creating the atmosphere at matches.
It added that it would continue developing initiatives and events aimed at different sections of the community to encourage greater attendance and participation.
The Fan Zone is intended to make attending Lusail matches a more comprehensive experience for supporters and their families.
