Noida: The inaugural UYBA 3×3 Basketball Tournament concluded at the Noida Indoor Stadium after two days of high-intensity competition on August 8 and 9, bringing together more than 800 young players and over 1,200 participants, including coaches and family members, from across India.
Organised by the Ulhas YuviPep Basketball Academy (UYBA) under President Ulhas KS, the tournament featured more than 150 teams from 20 states, with over 200 matches played across four age categories — U10, U12, U14 and U19 — for both boys and girls.
Teams travelled to Noida from several parts of India, including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Kolkata, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and Uttarakhand.
Major Deepak Yadav, Director, Sports Authority of India, attended the tournament as Chief Guest on August 9. He witnessed the competition and appreciated UYBA President Ulhas KS for organising an event of such scale and creating a competitive platform for young basketball players.
A total prize pool of 2 lakh was distributed across the eight categories.
Sports Soul, the arena partner, provided key infrastructure and support for the tournament.

* U19 Girls: Kohinoor, Rajasthan
The tournament highlighted the growing depth of young basketball talent in India and provided players with valuable exposure to high-level 3×3 competition.
