SYLHET, Bangladesh : Hasan Ali returned to the field and resumed bowling after suffering a head injury scare on the opening day of Pakistan’s second test against Bangladesh national cricket team in Sylhet on Saturday.
The Pakistan fast bowler was stretchered off after landing awkwardly while attempting a return catch in the eighth over of the match.
Ali dived to his right off a shot from Tanzid Hasan Tamim, clutched his head and appeared dazed as medical staff rushed onto the field to treat him before carrying him away.
The 31-year-old later returned during the 16th over, with the incident appearing to be precautionary, and completed a spell before lunch.
Bangladesh, who lead the two-match series 1-0, reached 101 for three at the interval after electing to bat.
