DOHA: Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani crowned the top performers in the Future Equestrians round during the 10th stage of the Longines Hathab Qatar Equestrian Tour, held at the Qatar Equestrian Federation arena.
In the Future Equestrians (70cm) class, Alia Ahmed Al Khater claimed first place riding “Fahin” with a time of 13.54 seconds. Noura Jassim Al-Thani finished second on “Sandor,” while Nasser Hamad Al Thani secured third aboard “Coco Chanel.”
The Open class (110cm) saw Khalid Al Hadi take top honors with a clear round on “Carlton,” ahead of Abdullah Khalid Al Jalandani and Mohammed Mansour Al Sulaitin.
In the Junior category, Mohammed Mansour Al Sulaitin delivered an outstanding performance, finishing first and second with “Mazeltov,” while Sheikh Fahad bin Jassim Al Thani placed third on “Kiara.”
The 140cm Gold Tour was won by Yara Al Hunaidi on “Caprice” with a time of 55.29 seconds. Mohammed Saeed Haidan finished second on “Wathnan,” and Frederick Stark took third riding “Wathnan Bobby.”
In the team standings, Team Wathnan secured first place, followed by Team Lekhwiya in second and Team Al Fardan in third.
The 10th round will conclude with the Diamond Tour (150cm), Bronze Tour (120cm), and another Future Equestrians class (90cm), continuing an action-packed stage of Qatar’s premier equestrian series.
