Guwahati: Rajasthan Royals’ teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi continued his remarkable form with a stunning half-century off just 15 balls during the IPL 2026 clash as his team beat Bengaluru by six wickets on Friday.
The 15-year-old left-handed opener smashed seven fours and four sixes, taking apart experienced bowlers like Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. He set the tone early, striking two boundaries off Bhuvneshwar in the opening over.
Despite the early dismissal of Yashasvi Jaiswal in the second over, Sooryavanshi maintained the momentum, hammering Hazlewood for three fours and a six in four consecutive deliveries.
This explosive innings marked the second time this season that Sooryavanshi has reached a 50 in just 15 balls, having previously achieved the feat against Chennai Super Kings at the Barsapara Stadium.
