LONDON: West Ham has announced in a statement on Monday that the club has retained veteran David Moyes as their coach for the third successive season.
He helped West Ham won Europa Conference League last week by beating Fiorentina 2-1 in the final in Prague and ended club’s 43-year wait for a trophy.
The 60-year-old will have to cope without skipper Declan Rice, who is set to leave the club this summer, but is eager to build on their Conference League triumph.
“I hope we can continue to make progress. I think we have done over the last two or three years and last night was progress because we won a trophy. It was massive for us to win a trophy,” Moyes said.
