PARIS: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Bradley Barcola once again punished Chelsea in the Champions League Round of 16 on Tuesday, scoring in a commanding 3-0 away victory.
This win secured Paris Saint-Germain’s place in the quarterfinals with an impressive 8-2 aggregate score.
PSG’s triumph was further cemented by a clinical goal from 19-year-old Senny Mayulu, showcasing the strength of the club’s youth academy. Mayulu had previously scored the fifth goal in PSG’s 5-0 demolition of Inter Milan in last year’s Champions League final.
PSG coach Luis Enrique praised the team’s performance, saying, “We did almost everything well, we defended well and attacked with the abilities we have. We controlled the game and I think we counter-attacked very well.”
