DOHA: The 12th “Super Grade” Ramadan Six-a-Side Football Championship continues on Thursday at the Al Wakrah Club Hall, with Qatar News Agency (QNA) set to face Al Sharq as both teams target a second straight victory.
QNA and Al Sharq each have three points after opening-round wins. QNA cruised past Al Watan 5-1 in their first match, while Al Sharq secured a 4-1 victory over Al Arab.In another fixture, Al Arab and Al Watan will meet with both sides looking for their first win of the tournament. Each team has one point following earlier results.
On Wednesday, Al Sharq newspaper defeated Al Arab newspaper 4-0, while Al Raya and Al Watan played out a 2-2 draw.The annual Ramadan tournament brings together local media teams in a competitive futsal-style format held during the holy month.
