DOHA: The third round of the Qatar Equestrian Tour (Longines Hathab) for the 2025-2026 season will get underway on Thursday, organized by the Qatar Equestrian Federation (QEF) in collaboration with Al Shaqab, a member of Qatar Foundation.
Part of the ninth Longines Hathab series, which began two weeks ago, the tournament spans 14 rounds hosted at QEF arenas and the Longines Arena at Al Shaqab. The third round will unfold over three days at the QEF Indoor Arena, drawing top riders to compete across multiple categories.
The action begins on Thursday with the Amateur round at 100 cm, followed by the Bronze round for individuals and teams at 120 cm. Friday will feature the Future Riders category (ages 6-12) at 70 cm, the Open round at 110 cm, and the Gold round for individuals and teams at 140 cm.
Saturday’s program will showcase Dressage, the Future Riders category (ages 12-16) at 90 cm, the Silver round at 130 cm, and conclude with the Diamond round at 150 cm.
Widely regarded as Qatar’s premier domestic equestrian championship, Longines Hathab continues to play a vital role in nurturing equestrian talent and promoting the sport nationwide.(QNA)
