DOHA (Qatar): Qatar Cricket Association (QCA) Pink team defeated Yellow by seven wickets in the six-over exhibition match at the Asian Town Stadium on Friday.
Batting first, Yellow scored 29 for four wickets while the winners Pink reached the target in five overs losing three wickets.
The Qatar women’s team last played an international match in January and the exhibition match was the first one for the players since sporting activities came to a halt in March due to Covid-19 pandemic.
India win four-nation T10 community title
India beat Bangladesh by 37 runs to win the T10 community four-nation tournament, organised by QCA to celebrate Qatar National Day.
Batting first, India scored 144 runs and then restricted their opponents to 107 runs.
Earlier, India defeated Pakistan by 18 runs while Bangladesh confirmed a place in final with eight-wicket victory over Sri Lanka.
