Doha: Qatar has officially secured the hosting rights for the 2027 FIA General Assembly, earning an impressive 95.4% of the vote.

In a further boost, Abdulrahman bin Abdullatif Al Mannai—President of the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation and Lusail International Circuit—has been elected to the FIA World Motor Sport Council, the sport’s top regulatory body.
