DOHA: The Qatar Stars League (QSL) on Tuesday announced the winners of the Best of the Month awards for October and November 2025 in the Doha Bank Stars League 2025–2026 season, recognising standout performances across the competition.
According to a QSL statement, the honours included Best Under-23 Player, Best Coach and Best Player, along with technical awards for Best Save, Best Goal and Best XI. The winners were selected by an expert committee overseeing football development within the league.
Al Arabi head coach Cosmin Contra claimed the Best Coach award for the first time, following an impressive run by his side. Al Sadd star Akram Afif was named Best Player, while Al Gharafa’s Senegalese defender Seydou Sano earned the Best Under-23 Player award for his consistent displays.
In the technical categories, Al Arabi goalkeeper Jassim Al Hail won Best Save for his effort against Al Ahli, while Qatar SC’s Joao Pedro secured Best Goal for his strike against Al Gharafa.
The Best XI for October and November featured Jassim Al Hail (Al Arabi); Ayoub Al Oui and Seydou Sano (Al Gharafa); Mowafaq Awad (Al Shamal); Ahmed Al Menhali (Al Rayyan); Mohamad Manai (Al Shamal); Driss Fettouhi (Al Ahli); Roger Guedes (Al Rayyan); Rodri Sanchez (Al Arabi); Akram Afif and Roberto Firmino (both Al Sadd), highlighting the depth of quality across the league.
