DOHA: Qatar SC delivered a commanding performance to defeat Al Khor SC in straight sets in the men’s volleyball General League on Sunday, winning 25-11, 25-15, 25-19 at the Qatar Volleyball Association Hall.
The victory lifted Qatar SC to 16 points from nine matches in the first half of the season, moving them into third place in the overall standings. Al Khor remained on 11 points and sit 11th, while Al Wakrah continue to lead the table with 22 points from eight matches.
The match also served as a timely boost for Qatar SC ahead of their participation in the 44th Arab Club Volleyball Championship, which will be held in Tunisia from January 6 to 18. Qatar SC will represent the country at the continental tournament alongside Police SC.
