DOHA: Police SC will face Qatar SC on Tuesday in the second phase of the general men’s Qatari volleyball league at the headquarters of the Qatar Volleyball Association, with 10 teams competing in the competition.
Police SC sit third in the standings with 30 points, behind Al Arabi in second and leaders Al Wakrah, who are both on 34 points. Having played 12 matches, Police SC will be looking for a win to close the gap at the top of the table.
Qatar SC are fifth with 28 points, level with fourth-placed Al Rayyan. Qatar SC are aiming to improve their position as the league enters a highly competitive second phase.
Tuesday’s other match will see bottom side Al Sadd, with three points, take on eighth-placed Al Shamal, who have nine points.The remaining matches of the second phase will be played on Saturday, with Al Shamal meeting Al Rayyan, while Al Sadd face Police SC.
