SAN ANTONIO : Saddiq Bey and Zion Williamson scored 24 points apiece and sank key free throws late as the New Orleans Pelicans erased a slow start to defeat the San Antonio Spurs 104-95 on Sunday.

Bey and Williamson each collected 10 rebounds, while Trey Murphy III added 17 points and Yves Missi finished with 10 points and 14 boards for New Orleans, which built a big second-half lead and closed strongly.

Victor Wembanyama led San Antonio with 16 points and 16 rebounds. Keldon Johnson scored 15 points off the bench, Devin Vassell had 13 in his first appearance since Dec. 29 after missing 13 games with an adductor strain, while Julian Champagnie and De’Aaron Fox added 13 and 12 points, respectively.

Warriors 111, Timberwolves 85

Stephen Curry scored 26 points and handed out seven assists as Golden State pulled away after halftime in Minneapolis to hand Minnesota its fifth straight defeat.

Moses Moody added 19 points and eight rebounds for the Warriors, who snapped a two-game losing streak. Brandin Podziemski scored 12 points on 6-of-10 shooting and De’Anthony Melton added 12 off the bench.

Anthony Edwards led Minnesota with 32 points and 11 rebounds. Donte DiVincenzo scored 22 points and Julius Randle added 11 as the Timberwolves were outscored 64-39 after the break.

Raptors 103, Thunder 101

Immanuel Quickley scored 23 points, including two crucial three-pointers in the final two minutes, as Toronto edged host Oklahoma City.

RJ Barrett added 14 points and Brandon Ingram 13 for the Raptors. Scottie Barnes posted 10 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists and three blocks.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 24 points, but was limited to three in the fourth quarter.

Heat 111, Suns 102

Bam Adebayo scored 22 points and Jaime Jaquez Jr. added 20, including 18 in the second half, as Miami pulled away from Phoenix despite a disrupted travel schedule.

Norman Powell finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Andrew Wiggins recorded 10 points and 10 boards for his first double-double of the season. The Heat completed a 3-2 record on their longest road trip of the campaign.
