Madrid: Real Madrid will face Levante tomorrow, Saturday, at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in the twentieth round of the Spanish Football League.
Real Madrid are aiming to maintain pressure on league leaders Barcelona, as they currently occupy second place with 45 points. A victory would reduce the gap to just one point, depending on the outcome of Barcelona’s match against Real Sociedad on Sunday in the same round.
The match also represents an opportunity for Real Madrid to restore the confidence of their supporters following a series of disappointing results, most notably their elimination from the round of 16 of the Spanish King’s Cup after a 3–2 loss to second-division side Albacete, in addition to setbacks in both the King’s Cup and the Spanish Super Cup.
