Jassim rides MONOPLOGY to glory in Level 1 dressage event

DOHA (Qatar):  Jassim Al Jaham Al Kuwari rode MONOPOLY to victory in the Level 1 dressage competition of Longines Hathab Qatar Equestrian Tour on Saturday.

Al Kuwari collected 68.659 points and a cheque of QAR4,950 for his effort.

Maryam Ahmad Al Semaitt riding RYTHM came second (66,463 points) and Asma Yasser Mohammed atop LESLIE ANN 2 finished third with 64.756 points.

Saoud Ahmed Al Boinin on DRUM MOUSSE came fourth followed by Maryam Ahmad AL BOININ on SILVAN.

The popular 12-round series which is into its fourth season, the eight round which came to an end on Saturday, is conducted in three sections, the Medium Tour, Big Tour and Small Tour.

Nasser Al Ghazali is leading the riders’ classification in the Big Tour with 188 points through his participation in eight rounds,
followed by Hamad Nasser Al Qadi in second place with 167 points and Faleh Suwead Al Ajami in third place with 164 points.

In the Medium Tour, Cyrine Cherif leads with Medium Tour 184 points, and Mohammad Khalifa Al-Baker is second with 173 points and Mohammad Saeed Haidan is third with 152 points.

Besides the individual ranking, the championship is contested by nine teams with Exxon Mobil leading the way with 182 points, followed by QAF Teams (161) and Al Kass Teams (159).

Lusail Teams, Business Trading Company (BTC) Teams, Limited Edition Cars Teams, Salam International Teams, Qatar Equestrian Federation Teams and Future Riders Teams are the groups in the competition.

The fourth season of the Longines Hathab Qatar Equestrian Tour is held in partnership between the Qatar Equestrian Federation and Al Shaqab, a member of Qatar Foundation.
