KIGALI: Former India coach Stephen Constantine has been appointed head coach of Rwanda on a two-year contract, the country’s football federation announced on Friday.
The 63-year-old returns to the role after previously managing the East African nation for eight months in 2014.
Constantine has enjoyed a long international coaching career, with two spells in charge of India, and previous roles with Nepal and Pakistan in Asia, as well as Malawi and Sudan in Africa.
His first match back in charge of Rwanda will be against Grenada in Kigali on March 27, followed three days later by a game against either Estonia or Kenya in the FIFA Series tournament. (Reuters)
