DOHA: President of the International Automobile Federation (FIA), Mohammed Ben Sulayem praised the outstanding organization of the Qatar Airways Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix, which has become a prominent event on the World Championship calendar and is considered one of the best rounds of the championship in terms of safety and security.
The FIA President affirmed that the great success achieved by the Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix reflects the advanced position that Qatar has attained in hosting major international sporting events, especially in the field of motorsport.
Ben Sulayem emphasized that the State of Qatar has provided everything possible for motorsports, whether in terms of the outstanding organization of championships, the availability of integrated infrastructure, or attention to the smallest details that make a difference in such global events.
The FIA President praised the Lusail International Circuit, considering it one of the most important and prominent circuits in the world, given its distinctive identity, unique design, and distinctive colors that give it an attractive character for both racers and fans.
