DOHA (Qatar): Duhail SC fought back to beat Al Rayyan 32-24 in the opening matches of the seventh week of Qatar League at the Duhail Sports Hall.
The reigning Emir Cup champions trailed 12-13 at the break, but returned with a renewed confidence in the second to turn the table on their opponents.
The first half was evenly contested with both sides tried to outgun each other.
In the second half, Duhail regained control to earn full points.
Meanwhile, the Qatar Handball Federation held its general assembly meeting that was attended by the Board of Directors of QHF as well as Qatar Olympic Committee members.
