DOHA: The organizing committee of the Doha Equestrian Tour 2026 has officially unveiled the championship’s new identity and logo, symbolizing the 10-round season and reflecting Qatar’s rich equestrian heritage alongside its growing international sporting stature.
Khalifa Al Attiya, Executive Director of the Doha Tour, said the new branding is rooted in a strategic vision designed to strengthen Qatar’s position on the global equestrian calendar. He highlighted that the tour continues to enrich the international competition schedule with top-tier events, reinforcing the country’s reputation as a global sports capital and a premier destination for major tournaments. Al Attiya also emphasized that world-class infrastructure, led by Al Shaqab’s advanced facilities, remains central to the tour’s sustained success.
Running from January 2 to April 4, the Doha Equestrian Tour 2026 will feature 10 international competitions ranging from one-star to five-star events, with total prize money exceeding €10 million. The season will open with the HH the Father Amir Equestrian Grand Prix from January 2 to 31, comprising four rounds.
The calendar continues with the HH the Amir Sword International Equestrian Festival from February 11, followed by the Al Shaqab International CHI, sponsored by Longines, from February 18 to 21, featuring show jumping, dressage and para-dressage. The Longines Global Champions Tour will take place from March 4 to 7.
New additions to the program include the Qatar Olympic Committee Cup from March 11, the Al Shaqab Cup starting March 26 with team events, and the Qatar Equestrian Federation Cup from April 2. All competitions will be staged at Al Shaqab, whose state-of-the-art facilities meet the highest international standards.
