Anna Danilina of Kazakhstan and Aleksandra Krunic of Serbia captured the women’s doubles title at the Qatar TotalEnergies Open on Saturday, rallying to defeat Jelena Ostapenko of Latvia and Hsieh Su-wei of Chinese Taipei in a three-set final.
Playing on the main court at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex, Danilina and Krunic recovered from a one-sided opening set to claim a 0–6, 7–6, 10–8 victory.
The trophy presentation was attended by Qatar Tennis, Squash, Padel and Badminton Federation Secretary General Tariq Zainal and Executive Director Saad Al Mohannadi, who also serves as tournament director.
