Doha: Drawing on its experience delivering medical services at world-class sporting events, the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025™ Local Organising Committee (LOC) has deployed comprehensive medical operations to ensure high-quality care for everyone involved in the tournament.
This includes players, spectators and guests across stadiums, training grounds and team hotels.
These services are being delivered through a partnership between Aspetar, the globally recognised orthopaedic and sports medicine hospital and the Official Medical Partner of the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025™, and Hamad Medical Corporation, the country’s national healthcare provider.
For Dr. Khalid Al Khulaifi, LOC Director of Medical, the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025™️ has once again showcased Qatar’s ability to deliver a high standard of medical services at a major football tournament: “Medical services are a key operational area for the Arab Cup, making sure players are able to perform to their highest ability on the pitch.”
Around 700 medical staff, including doctors, nurses and paramedics, are deployed across tournament venues, with operations comprising fully equipped ambulances and dedicated clinics.
These facilities serve both fans, players and guests, and are fully equipped to deliver first aid, emergency response and coordinated hospital referrals when required.
Expert medical teams and advanced facilities ensure a safe tournament experience across venues.
