DOHA (Qatar): Al Sadd star players Santi Cazorla and Akram Afif were among the three nominated for the 2020-21 Qatar Football Association (QFA) Awards, the QFA said on Monday.
Yacine Brahimi of Al Rayyan is the other player on the list.
The Board of Trustees of Qatar Football Association (QFA) Award announced the results of voting for the Best Awards from the first leg of 2020-21 season QNB Stars League (Best Under-23 Player Award and Best Player Award) after receiving and sorting the nomination forms sent to participants in the voting process.
A total of 55 forms were sent out, 48 forms were received and all of them were approved after the screening process.
The voting for the Best Coach Award will take place after the end of Qatar Stars League.
