DOHA: Aspire Zone Foundation reached a new milestone on Wednesday after winning the Leadership in Institutional Transformation Award at the second edition of the Qatar Government Excellence Award ceremony.
The event was held under the patronage and in the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. The award was received by Abdullah Nasser Al Nuaimi, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Aspire Zone Foundation, in recognition of the foundation’s efforts to develop its institutional framework and adopt best practices in performance and service management.
The Civil Service and Government Development Bureau recently launched the second cycle of the Qatar Government Excellence Programme, which aims to enhance the efficiency of government performance, promote innovation and make smart services, data management and modern technologies central to the development of government work.
The programme also seeks to build human capital capable of meeting future challenges.Ministries and government entities compete for awards based on their rankings against the criteria of the Qatar Government Excellence Model.
Commenting on the achievement, Al Nuaimi said the award reflected the foundation’s continued commitment to institutional development and innovation.“We are proud that Aspire Zone Foundation has received the Leadership in Institutional Transformation Award, an achievement that reflects our ongoing commitment to improving institutional performance, embracing innovation and enhancing service quality to the highest standards,” he said.

Al Nuaimi added that the latest honour builds on Aspire Zone Foundation’s success in the first cycle of the programme, when it won the Excellence Award for Entities, underscoring its commitment to sustained institutional excellence.
