DOHA: Aspire Zone Foundation has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Mahd Sports Academy to strengthen cooperation and exchange expertise in developing sports talent and building institutional capabilities.
The agreement was signed by Abdullah Nasser Al-Nuaimi, acting chief executive of Aspire Zone Foundation, and Abdullah bin Faisal Hammad, chief executive of Mahd Sports Academy.
Under the MoU, the two sides aim to expand cooperation in athlete preparation and development, share knowledge and best practices, and explore partnership opportunities in training and qualification programmes. The initiative is intended to support the wider sports ecosystem and help identify and nurture promising talent.
Mahd Sports Academy is a national sports academy in Saudi Arabia focused on discovering and developing athletes to compete successfully at national, regional and international levels.
The agreement forms part of Aspire Zone Foundation’s strategy to broaden its regional and international partnerships and reinforce its position as a leading centre for sports and athlete development.
Both parties said the MoU represents a strategic step toward enhancing regional cooperation and building sustainable partnerships that raise sporting standards and support their shared vision of empowering national talent and achieving sporting excellence.
