Doha: Aspetar, Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital in Doha, organized a workshop on Pitch Injury Management in collaboration with the organizing committee of the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 and the FIFA Arab Cup 2025.
The initiative forms part of Aspetar’s ongoing efforts to unify global medical standards for managing on-field injuries.
Dr. Khalid Alkhelaifi, Chief Medical Officer of the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 and FIFA Arab Cup 2025, said: “This workshop represents an outstanding model in enhancing the readiness of medical teams to manage emergency injuries during matches. It has achieved great success in unifying medical procedures and training staff on the latest scientific and practical practices, reflecting the vital role played by the Medical Committee in ensuring players’ safety and strengthening on-field medical response.
